Expert discussion on the Draft Corruption Risk Assessment Methodology for the public sector

On 1 December 2016, CoE/EU Eastern Partnership Programmatic Cooperation Framework Project “Fight against Corruption in Ukraine” supported the National Agency on Corruption Prevention in organising an expert discussion on the Draft Corruption Risk Assessment Methodology for the public sector. The event gathered representatives from the Business Ombudsman Council, the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Committee on Corruption Prevention and Counteraction (NACP), civil society, as well as Council of Europe experts, to discuss proposed solutions and possible areas for improvement.

A number of comments expressed during the discussion were incorporated into the final text of the Corruption Risk Assessment Methodology adopted by the NACP on 5 December 2016. Remaining suggestions will form the basis for development of the Explanatory Guidelines to the Corruption Risk Assessment Methodology.
