The Council of Europe's Parliamentary Assembly will hold its first regional seminar on social rights in Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries in Chisinau (Republic of Moldova) on May 18. The seminar will focus on the revised European Social Charter. Members of the national parliamentary committees dealing with social rights will share their experience and will consider ways of addressing the issues raised in the Conclusions of the European Committee of Social Rights on the conformity of national legislation and practice with the European Social Charter. They will discuss present problems, possible solutions and examples of good practice in this area.
