Routes4U participates in “Archaeotourism” webinar

Routes4U was a guest participant at the “Archaeotourism and Culture Routes:Let's share and learn!” webinar in April. The webinar focused on ways of developing archaeotourism for the tourism sector by developing new and enriching existing cultural routes of Baltic Heritage.

Laura Ligazzolo, Routes4U Project Assistant, gave a well-received presentation on the “Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe in the EU macro-regions: sharing experiences of Routes4U joint programme”

The webinar was designed for companies, organizations and people that are interested in developing culture routes related to the historical and archaeological heritage of the South Baltic Sea Region and to tap into touristic potential.

The April 24 webinar was organised by ArchaeoBalt, an Interreg South Baltic Project. ArchaeoBalt Project aims to presents a new way to promote forgotten cultural and material heritage through several activities, which should boost the tourist exchange in SBSR by creating a new brand – sustainable green & blue Archaeotourism. The project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund within the Interreg South Baltic Programme 2014-2020.
