The Cultural Foundation «The Routes of the Olive Tree» is looking for an intern (3 months) to assist them on the development of cooperation programmes.

The Routes of the Olive Tree was certified in 2005 “Cultural Route of the Council of Europe”. The Cultural Foundation ”The Routes of the Olive Tree” coordinates a network with members in more than fifteen countries, working on the theme of the olive tree as a tool for intercultural dialogue and discovery.

Intern’s tasks :

• Oral and written communication with the members of the Routes of the Olive Tree network (active/inactive) and potential members. Followup of the correspondence. Update of members’ contact details;
• Drafting, writing and translation of information material for the members (website, newsletter, etc).

Intern’s profile:

• Studies or experience in networking and communication ;
• Languages: Perfect command of English and French;
• Computer skills: Internet ; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, power point) …

Work conditions:

• 6 to 8 hours per day at the headquarters of the Routes of the Olive Tree (Kalamata, Greece);
• Monthly allowance: 250€
• Travel expenses to Kalamata (round trip from a capital city or airport hub) and accommodation (single room and halfboard) can be covered;
