On 19 April, Constanze Metzger, Routes4U Senior Project Officer, presented to the 32 Members States of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes the Routes4U Project during the Governing Board of the Enlarged Partial Agreement (EPA) on Cultural Routes at the Neumünster Abbey, in Luxembourg.
The EPA on Cultural Routes implements the Council of Europe’s policy guidelines and decides the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe programme strategy. It is open to member and non-member States of the Council of Europe and aims to provide political support for national, regional and local initiatives for promoting culture and tourism.
The EPA Governing Board meets every year in April, when, among other, it awards the “Cultural Route of the Council of Europe” certification and oversees the triennal evaluation of the networks already certified.
