The third #SportISRespect online workshop was held on 15 March 2023, to present the state of play of the implementation of the project in Italy.

Stefania Pizzolla, Service Coordinator at the Sport Department of the Ministry of Sport and Youth, and Antonio Parrilla, national coordinator, presented the fact sheet for Italy. National coordinators from the project partner countries and international experts Laszlo Foldi and Rosario Coco had the chance to learn from Italy’s best practices, challenges and opportunities. The previous findings from France, Germany, Greece and Spain and those to come from Montenegro will form the basis for the next workshop, where the national strategies will be defined.

The "Combating Hate Speech in Sport" joint project is co-funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe and implemented by the Council of Europe.
