By supporting the in reprinting publication of a leaflet on free secondary legal aid for the FLA Coordination Centre the EU/CoE joint Project “Consolidation of Justice Sector Policy Development in Ukraine” helped raise awareness of the achievements of the reform of free legal aid as an integral part of the entire justice sector reform.

150 000 leaflets were delivered to 125 regional and local FLA centres, which disseminated the materials to local communities.

The applicants (especially those residing far away from big cities) received access to clear and concise information on eligibility for free legal aid, application procedures, services that can be provided free of charge, and the steps to be taken by applicants in order to obtain it.
