Call for applications: Integrating a gender perspective into legal education

The Council of Europe is launching a call for applications for a regional workshop entitled Integrating a gender perspective into legal education”, to be held on 23 October 2026 at the European Youth Centre Budapest (EYCB), Hungary.

The workshop will bring together up to 60 law professors from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. It aims to strengthen participants’ capacity to integrate Council of Europe standards on gender equality and human rights into legal education, including through curriculum development, innovative teaching approaches and peer exchange.

Applications are open to teaching staff at all academic levels, as well as individuals holding managerial or leadership positions within law faculties.

Deadline for applications: 30 June 2026

The Council of Europe will cover travel and subsistence expenses for selected participants.
