Back Travel pass to democracy: supporting teachers for active citizenship

Training module

Hungary is the first country to experience the half day training module on "Respect of Human Dignity at School" jointly designed by Croatia, Hungary, Montenegro and Romania within the Pilot Project "Travel Pass to Democracy: supporting teachers in preparing students for active citizenship" on 20 September in Budapest.

The audience, which consisted of school head teachers, teachers and trainees, had the opportunity to discuss situations where human dignity and children's rights were violated at school and to find solutions to ensure increased respect and promotion of these rights.

Representatives from Croatia, Montenegro and Romania were invited to attend the training as observers and to provide feedback.

The training module will also be rolled out in Croatia, Montenegro and Romania. It is expected that the comments made by the observers following each of the training sessions will enrich the module allowing the development of a final module relevant to each country.
